Guidelines for a new tenant

Welcome to your new home provided by Euran Vuokrakodit housing company! We want to make sure that all our residents are comfortable and have a smooth stay, so please read the new tenant guidelines.

Carefully read the details of the tenancy contract

  • In the contract, you will find the rent and other charges, the rent payment date, the rental period and other terms of the contract.

 

Read the rules of conduct and recycling instructions

 

Take charge of the tasks that fall under your responsibility

  • Check the table of responsibilities shared between the tenant and the landlord. 
  • It is the tenant’s responsibility to maintain a valid home insurance policy. The tenant is liable to the landlord for any damage caused to the property if there is no valid home insurance.

Be sure to make an official notice of your move


Get other things in order for the move

  • Notify about your new address to banks, insurance companies, newspaper subscriptions, organizations, the library, your telecoms provider, friends and relatives.
  • Get home insurance
  • If necessary, change or get your internet service. Find out from the landlord whether your address is covered by the housing company’s agreement and if so, how to get connected.
  • The landlord will give your details to the local electricity company, which will bill you for the electricity supply. It is also possible to order electricity from another electricity company.


Keep your contact details up to date

  • If your contact details have changed, please contact euranvuokrakodit@eura.fi or call 028 398 0001. 
  • Please also report any changes of occupancy (new and outgoing tenants) in the apartments.

 

Follow our messages

  • About once a month we will send you an email newsletter with current news about Euran Vuokrakodit. 
  • We may also send you information about urgent matters and possible crisis situations by SMS. So please keep your contact details up to date!
  • We also publish news here on our website.

 

Contact us in case of problems

  • Inform the landlord immediately of any damage to the apartment or any defects you find in the common areas.
  • You can find contact details on our website, in the lower lobby of apartment buildings or on the wall of the garbage bin shed of terraced houses.
  • If there is a disturbance in the building outside office hours (e.g. noise), please contact the security service, tel. 046 5032 6908.

 

Participate in community activities

  • We organize different events for residents and continuously develop tenant activities.
  • We will inform you about upcoming events in our newsletter.
